NSE presents 3 to 4 programs during each concert season. Pieces are selected for their individual artistic merits as well as their role and relevance in a unified concert theme. Within the course of each program, you will find both music by familiar composers and obscure pieces written within the last decade. Each concert experience is an exploration of the way music can, regardless of its period and origin, awaken and transform our senses.
As a departure from conventional program notes, we try to engage the audience by sharing our experience and perspective on each piece before playing. This provides an opportunity for us to interact with you, and fosters a deep and rewarding experience for listeners.
